Using the attachments is a breeze, you just turn the selector on the back of the Riccar Radiance Upright Vacuum and choose attachments and remove the length adjustable extension wand and you are ready to go. The attachments on the Riccar Radiance Upright Vacuum have more suction power than any other vacuum I have tested. The suction power of the attachments is also adjustable via a mechanical push button that allows you to reduce the suction to clean delicate fabric.

The only draw back to the Riccar Radiance Upright Vacuum could be that it is fairly heavy compared to other vacuums. However, when in use with the beater bar on, it is almost self propelled.

The Riccar Radiance Upright Vacuum also features easy to use switches on the handle that allow you to turn the vacuum on and off as well as allowing you to turn off the beater brush for use on hard floors.

The attachments on the Riccar Radiance Upright Vacuum are excellent. The extendable wand is built onto the attachment hose so you don't have to mess with extra parts and it is adjustable in length allowing you to reach high and low with no problems.

The most interesting feature is the automatic height adjustment. This feature allows you to go from cleaning hard floors to cleaning rugs to cleaning thick carpeting, never having to stop to adjust the vacuum's height.

The Riccar Radiance Upright Vacuum is one of the best cleaning vacuums of any type I have tested, and is in fact my favorite upright vacuum easily. The Riccar Radiance Upright Vacuum is a bit heavy and may be a problem for some to get up stairs.
